I was turned on to tube fishing in 1991 by a fly fishing Guide in Montana.
My question is how many tube fish here and what kind of tube do you use.
Also since my tube is very old and hard to get in and out of when I need to pee, I was wondering what brand would you recommend.

Mine is a Caddis I'm pretty sure - I will go look it and make sure. I bought it about 20 years ago on sale at Big 5 for about 40 bucks. Some of the best 40 bucks I've ever spent. If you want to spend some money don't buy a new tube (unless you really want to) invest in some of those fins that fold up when you get out the water - man those make walking around so much easier! As for peein, I don't wear waders while tubing I wear a shortie wet suit. Not hard to figure out.

Yes, I am sure the scene would have made a very funny skit, and escpecially after i had swum over and got upright again with the little tree that had cause my problem in the first place. The only negative is i lost my little tackle box with about a dozen baits Just Sayin...RJS

When I lived in Alaska, I had an Outcast Fishcat. It was great for small lakes that are found throughout the state. Of course we’re talking about extremely cold water so my neoprenes were essential. When the urge came, I headed for shore. When tubing in South Dakota with warmer water I was able to wear my zipper front waders and still wasn’t able to relieve myself without going ashore.

Dudes, and I do mean dudes, there is a device that you wear like a jock that attaches to a tube that runs down your leg and leads to a bag which straps to your leg. Wear it under your waders, problem solved. Unless you fill the bag up. You drinking that much beer out there, you probably gonna just piss in your waders anyway.

I know depends are absorbent but just like a baby's diaper, you lay in or sit in urine for a while, it's gonna chaff and burn and you're gonna be real uncomfortable and you're probably gonna whine and cry. The device RJS and I are talking about is just like being catheterized, but your not catheterized, your package is just being held gently in a socket which is attached to a tube on your leg so your pee can just run down your leg to a bag and then be disposed of at your leisure. Very tidy solution to an uncomfortable situation, I think.
