First boat a11ft sears aluminum with a 7 hp sears on Myra mostly caught blu gill few bass,using live minnows,next boat 16 ft bass tracker 60hp marner ob, some bass,using live minnows,next boat 18 winner,150 evinrude ob,more bass bait casting plugs and plastic worms,good boat,lost in the 2017 fire,next boat a stratos 18 ft 175johnson ob good rig, cockpit too small mare bass present boat,20005 nitro,200 merc ob power poles have used it a few times,few bass. Wife asked,will you catch more fish with this boat and I told her maybe not but I will sure look good backing down the ramp.first time out,on the ramp another fisherman stopped and said boy,that’s sure a good looking rig.goes to show you. Yeah buddy, that's a nice lookin rig you got now.
Was out at Sonoma today and caught 1 steelhead bout 14 inches. Was bleedin real bad so had to keep it. Caught 2 more smallies. One dink and another that was close to 3 pounds that came off right at the boat.
Found 4 lures today. So all in all was a good day.
When I was coming off the lake there was a guy there wantin to take my picture loadin the boat on the trailer. I said sure and he took a bunch of pics of me loadin up my boat.
He was from the Press Democrat , Santa Rosa Ca. local paper.
Said it would be in the paper tomorrow maybe but for sure it will be online.
He acted like it was a big deal loadin my boat by myself.

Well, Just goes to show you, a little press can go a long way. Should hold you until the next massage of your vanity can happen. I don't know anyone that doesn't like compliments, even back handed ones. Just Sayin..RJS

You know, the idea just hit me. I was ready to sell my 24 Gulf Coast bay boat. I took some pictures of it and postded them on the bulletin board of a local tackle shop. I sold that boat for my asking price within a week. Had to carry a small note, but it was not a problem and i got paid on time. Shows the power of an image. Just Sayin...RJS

In 1990 I bought a Ranger 364V with a Johnson GT150. Beautiful boat, handled like a dream. It was fast as well. I ran just over 60 MPH with the original 24 pitch prop. Dropped back to a 22 pitch prop. Lost a few mph top speed but the hole shot was amazing. Got burned out on fishing and sold the boat. I've missed it ever since.

I bet you have. Such a shame. Sounds like a wonderful boat.
I only have a 60 HP 4stroke and can only do bout 35MPH. It also has a nice hole shot and I bet it just sips gas compared to that 150 you had.
They all have their pros and cons I guess.
Hope you can get another boat you like and get back to fishin .
