Cool guy. Had room for plenty if water in hat for horses. Probably was a smart man too. Teachers are a class of people that deserve more respect.

Ya our town is getting more and more famous people mostly baseball shane Andrews cody ross and now a young kid was a first round draft pick from here pit hed his first major league game for Marlins last week

Well, my wife and I will be buried in the Hornsby Cemetery in Austin, which is also the resting place for Roger Hornsby. Reuben Hornsby, is a 7th generation ancestor on my wife's side, since we had to have a place to bury her sister, we also bought a plot. Reuben was a surveyor and actually surveyed the city of Austin TX before it became Austin. Before the name change it was known as Waterloo.

This cemetery has the third most Texas Rangers buried there after the State of Texas cemetery and the Texas Ranger Cemetery in Waco. Just Sayin...RJS

Was sad when he passed away. From a bad heart if I remember right.
