Anyone have a clear idea when the Stripers head back out to sea, down the Hudson River.
Spring is when they usually head out ton sea. They return in Autumn to winterover. East River has very good striper fishing until mid-November especially from the Brooklyn side if you don't have a boat.
Yes, there is a TV series where everyone (almost) is a policeman, (Maybe Blue Bloods) and there will be frequent scenes of them fishing, I suppose in the East River. I wondered what they might catch and that answers it, they are fishing for stripers.
Ha! I was checking to try and find when the migration went out to sea in the fall, not the other way around. Thanks for the correction.. Just Sayin...RJS

Good Luck Asente: Don't have a negative attitude, make sure you have an adequate supply of the best bait that stripers like and keep your line in the water. Just Sayin....RJS
Asente: You might have to call in sick a day or so now and again, to be sure you connect with those stripers. Just Sayin...RJS
