WHAT IS THE BEST BAIT FOR FISHING AT PINE VALLEY RESERVOIR IN UTAH IN SEPTEMBER?

Donald: I have no knowledge of Pine Valley Reservoir, but let me make a suggestion. Pretend you are a hungry Indian and there's no one else within 1,000 miles of you. Do a little scouting around the shore line and be very careful and observant.
What are the fish feeding upon? Catch a grasshopper at throw it in and watch their response. Same thing with a frog, a lizard, a bug. Are you getting the idea? Those fish live on natural and local fare, including minnows and perch that live in their habitat. Next, if you have lures or intend on buying some, try to match the hatch, or what they feed upon now. When you solve that puzzle, you have a key to catching those fish. Just Sayin...RJS
Flytier: Well, most of us got our start with help, but there is more satisfaction in figuring it out for one's self. Just Sayin...RJS

I live in N Utah and have never fished down there. Crawlers always work for the trout and bass.
