thank you, one and all. I am old enough not to get cocky about Hurricanes. I've been through several and have seen what they can do. I've also read of folks who bought a lot of booze and had a hurriane parties, That is a good way to get a free funeral. They will seldom find their bodies afterwards. i think we are good for this one and its going to hit between Port Arthur and Lake Charles. A direct hit and i'm gone! just Sayin...RJS

Is there such a thing WH? I don't know where Clyde is and I don't know a thing about hurricanes - I live in California, we have wild fires and earthquakes. Y'all be safe down there.

You may be in a hurricane free area but not tornadoes. I was in Baird for the one in 1949 or 1950. I have been asleep since then so not sure on year. Cross Plains grad of 1950.

For all of you in the path. Clear out or make fervent prayer. I've been out in a few of these storms and when things happen, they happen fast. Big surge and hard winds with this one.
