Out early and pretty slow for a while. Ended up with 4 keeper bluegill. There's a lot of weed on the bottom and most every cast end up dragging some in. 1 time I looked down and a bass around 20 inch followed it to the shore, dropped the bait down but it wasn't interested.

When I'm cleaning bluegill I cut off all the fins, they are too prickly, besides you dont eat them

Those are nice bluegill Rjw. Great pic.
The bluegill spawn finished here last month and a blue Gil Dt10 or Dt6 by Rapala was a bass catch machine during and after their spawn. Try it.

Just red worms, fished with running sinker and 12 inch trace on the bottom.
