Fishing Lake Okoboji, Iowa

I'm going to Lake Okoboji in Early September and was looking for some help since I've never been there. Will be fishing for Walleye and some Musky but hoping to get in some Crappie if they are available. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Tom, I've never fished Okoboji, there are a couple of stagers that direction, I believe. Check the user list at the top of the page, maybe PM then.

Welcome to the Forum, Tom. I'm sorry, I have never fished it either. I do have a fishing buddy who is from near there, Esterville, and he has never talked about fishing it that I can recall. From what I understand about the lake is that it is more of a recreation lake and not a fishing lake.
