I am camping on Juniata river, anyone with any experience in the area, with knowledge of lures and techniques. Would appreciate any intel.... thanks

Rebel wee craw works great. I've fished the river by McVeytown a lot it is great smallmouth fishery.

I will puck some up, thanks for the tip, I am going to use a heddon torpedo and a soft minnow spinner bait, till I can hit a tackle shop......tight lines

I'll second that, about the smallies there. Excellent, and abundant...3 pounders are not uncommon...

My best friend has a cabin on the river. We wade out and tear them up. Every now and then we float from the new ramp by the nursery down to his cabin. Great time.
