Fish some really noisy and flashy baits to trigger a reaction strike.
Or fish finesse oriented baits (dartheads, shaky heads, hair jigs, drop shot and etc.) to get the tough ones to bite.

Don't change lures too frequently. Adopt a technique and really get to know that technique.

Texas rigged soft plastic. Work it real slow. Cast as close to cover as you can.

I just learned this technique. Invited a extremely avid fisherman neighbor out to the lake to watch him fish. Only thing working between 6 and 8am was a rigged up black worm. Dropped close to shore, he was very good at that part, then twitch and pull. Watch the line for any sideways movement hopefully you’ll be ready to set the hook when the fish chomps down. Give it a try and send in the pictures.
Calm morning No. 13 floating Rap. or terminator spinner bait. Early morning
