Butts Lake in Plumas county

We went to Butts Lake in Plumas county last week . We saw trout jumping out of the
lake near the power dam must have been 18 inches at least however there choice meal
of the day wasn’t crawlers as we got skunked . PG&E was working on the turbine and
letting warm water in which ruined fishing for the week.

When they're jumpin out of the water you don't want to fish deep. Put on a casting bubble and drag a woolybugger around behind it. Or a nightcrawler?

Warm water? PG and E only pushes water shaver reservoir. Water that comes down the mountain is colder. Just saying.
