I know exactly what he’s talking about - yes, we did call it pork rind - only one, not plural!!!
When I am feeling sick I grab a bag of pork rinds and all is good
... duh me gets em at da gas station, 7-11, Wally World and regular convince stores.

I don't think they are being made any longer used to be one of my favorite baits
I don't think anything dried up tougher than an uncle Josh pork rind. They were harder than bad Bobby's heart.

I went back and searched for the old post. UNCLE JOSH PORK RIND. It was Mister Twister who posted it. And he got some off ebay thanks to Hack.
I have around a dozen jars off the original Uncle Josh 6 and 9 inch black pork rinds,
going back at least 45 years. I'd be willing to sell them, but I'm thinking the lids would
be so corroded you'd have to break the glass jobs and salvage the contents.
Uncle Josh's closed their doors about 2 years ago. Apparently made no attempt to sell the business. Sounds like an opportunity for a young entrepreneurial minded person.
