Nice catches guys, glad you got out. I took a tree down, cut the grass and knocked a few things off the Honey Do list. Also snuck in a round of golf with the Wife. Her friends couldn’t make it, so I subbed in for them.

Oh, that was good of you OJ!

Come on you all didn’t strike out. Let’s see them. Here are some of mine. Good day below the dam where the under two pound class fights like a four pounder and tail walks like a ballerina.

Nice fish, and a lot of them. Which river were you fishing? Thanks for sharing.

You're right Whitey, 3lb Smallmouth. The only good fish of the day. Wind gusts to 25mph made it hard to get a good picture.

It was a great day. Footing was a little difficult so measuring and weighing was out of the question. A few times pictures were possible. Over thirty 1.5 to 3 pounders were caught and released in two hours by two of us. Personal best quantity. Quit out of exhaustion.

Congrats looks like a great time and literally a cool place. Get some ice on that casting arm and get out there and do it again

Picture of shoreline around my fishing hole. You have to climb up to go down below the dam. No boat access and no path to get to it. Fishing spot on the far side. I might start taking some furniture down there to get comfortable. Fish will be there next weekend. There are big ones that will be showing up in pictures soon. First I have to teach the 3 pounders about crankbait, it might take awhile to get to the bigger ones.

In that picture I am standing on the dam. It is almost 30 foot drop to the rocks below. Some try fishing off the dam. Not supposed to do that. Falling to the rocks could be dangerous and a liability. Climbing down that side with a pole isn’t something I have tried yet. I plan to. Seems the big fish jump over there teasing me.

OH, I see. Yeah, that'd be a little bit of a drop. Can you wade/swim over to that spot?

Depth depends on the flow over the dam. Right now it is four feet at the shore and drops to ten. Might be easier to rig up some rope. Then there is at least one 3 plus foot alligator gar that kind of scare me if I’m in the water with them. I’ll get there. Pics will happen.
