Hello. Finally got to go fishing yesterday Port Monmouth Pier, NJ. Sunny and hot. First cast, short fluke then nothing but crabs, sea robins and more short fluke, but had a great day!!! Today birthday with plans to ride Harley up to Catskills to watch my birthday present from God Perseid Meteor shower over the next 3 nights but cloudy weather forecast so maybe not. But you guys out there with clear skies, look up!! So cool!

I want to see the Meteor Shower too. I just don’t want to wait until 1AM for it to appear. If I was at Ranch in Central Oregon it’s EZ to see it. Here in Sandy there is Thousands of streetlights and headlights drowning it out in Western Oregon

Anytime after dark these become visible, it's just that the most happen between 12 and 3am. And the peak is tonite, 12th. Perseids have some pretty bright ones I've seen from my backyard in years past.
