Made many trips to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area over the years but business always prevented me from doing any fishing Will turn 85 on Tues & plan to spend a week there doing some trout fishing. Does anybody know if the fishing regulations differ from fishing in the Park and out of the Park. The Pigeon River runs rite behind the cabin I rented and was told by the cabin owner that she didn't think a license was required if you fished with in the city limits.

I did some fishing in North Carolina and the park honored N C license. I don't know of any state that lets you fish a public lake with out a license. Yes check with DNR
