I wouldn't dismiss doing it myself, as I'm about two+ hours away...but, we have yet to deal with, much less conclude our first one that's nine months into the future. Let's first see how that one goes.

The word I hear is that Lake Fork is hard to get onto, with a large group maybe even more so.

Yeah, I've only been there once and we fished around one of the boat launches and under the bridge there and I caught a few bass from shore. Sure would like to get out on the lake in a boat.
Seemed like a nice enough boat launch and it was right by a resort where a lot of the tourney guys were stayin.
I didn't mention that they were fixin to have a tourney the next few days. Lots of boats on the water pre fishin the day we were there.

I may not get in a hurry, but I'll check into the possibility of perhaps having a M&G there sometime in the future. It's certainly not the only lake in the surrounding area.

Yeah, it wouldn't have to be Lake Fork. But I would like it to be one that is considered to be a premier bass lake. Which means people have fair/good chances to catch a fish, bass, of double digit proportions.

Yeah, IF this M&G comes off next year and is successful, maybe we can plan for the second M&G at a lake where we'll have a decent chance of catchin a fish of a lifetime.
PLEASE, don't get me wrong guys. I am truly lookin forward to the one in KS. and sincerely appreciate ALL the hard work Randy, Greg and others have put in to make this first one happen.
Still prayin that we'll all be virus free and healthy enough to make it there next May. I can hardly wait.
