Been using the umbrella rig (Alabama rig you call it) for 2 or 3 years. It works great for schooling white bass. My grandson calls it cheating. I've caught both LM & SM on the rig but no large fish. It works best for me if I use sassy shad in the natural black & silver color. I got into some hybrid's (wiper's) last year & those fighting buggers will destroy that rig. I downsized the baits & snaps on 1 rig & used it with crappie jigs last winter. Worked pretty good & caught a couple doubles.

Not really BB. He lives a few miles from me. That's the old guy I go fishin with sometimes. I've posted a few pics of us before.
Right now it's in the 80s to low 90s and the water temp is in the low to mid 70s.
