Have been checking FS out for a few months now & look forward to new FS email every day. After 2 retirements, I need to turn my full attention to what I enjoy most - fishing and tall tales. My recently completed drift boat is crying to get wet. Cheers to all.

Days of real freedom, Family values, respect for our country ,and its flag. Enough said. Thanks again.......

Welcome
Have you had your boat in the water yet. It will row a little harder than an Aluminum so try it our in less current at first. I owned one of those years ago, should have stuck an electric trolling motor on it.
FF: Maiden voyage last fall in the Columbia R. Once since then on a nearby reservoir. Boat only weighs about 325 lbs, is quieter than aluminum or glass, and most importantly is the only type I could build in my garage.
I have a long shaft Mercury 4 HP on the transom with small external tank. Pushes it just fine.
Thanks for asking.
