Not with all the grandkids I have...if they lose them then I have an excuse to buy a new one. My problem is I mostly use pinfish. Once they die then use them as cut bait. I am a lazy fisherman...like to let the bait work for me.

I used to use vinegar until I got the brains of the outfit a singer feather weight from your neck of the woods. Jimmy's men shop went to get me a new toy & she spotted the machine. Did some research & the featherweight shop talks about rust & different rust removal agents. Seems the best they found was kerosene. Tried it it works great, clean all my tools. Now I don't know if the scent from the kerosene with make the lures persona non grata for the fish.

Oops I thought it was Cubsfan didn't see Redding CA. Some beautiful country over there, used to take the kids camping when stationed at El Toro...
