Hello Rob, names Mike, at work Sparky but just retired I live right close by Purdy ( N.of Gig Harbor) and have been fishing and gardening here in Washington since 6 years old and Dad would carry me across sheelhead rivers on his back while I held the rods and the valuable thermas of coffee. If you need any information about fishing here, welcome to Washington and I will be glad to help you and introduce you to other rabid saltwater and river fisherman. Sportsman need to band together to help and promote our recreation and presurve the waters and forests that keep us from going stir crazy indoors. Heading out with church charter for halibut 30 miles out of Westport on Thursday Aug 6 opener. Things are tough here due to reservations (Neahbay Lapush) closed for Covid 19. Salmon starting in Puget sound but lots of closures. Let me know if you need any help. Good fishing

Hi Sparky

Had a bad weck right after I joined, TBI. Hard to believe, but I’m just getting my act together. Hope to catch some fish this year. Been here 10 years haven’t caught a trout, salmon, ling cod or halibut. Looking forward to learning.
