I have a shark problem . In the last two weeks I’ve had 4 sharks eat my trout and take my $ topwater lure. This is from my dock. Property sits on bayou / bay it’s a point . Very good fishing area. Sharks are usually not an issue , but with the 87 degree water temp and the abundance of bait , it’s become a problem .

Might I suggest you look up shark recipes. Oh and you might consider a new bathing beach 😊😊

I saw the shark eat my trout head . It was a small Bull Shark about 100lbs 4-5feet . But enough to take a chunk 😂

I just rigged a pitch rod with a big chugger bug and 80 lb flouro. If I can get a speck to hit it , I may have a chance at hooking up and landing a baby bull shark

I try to fish every morning at before dawn until sun gets over the trees . Then go in and have coffee. It’s a short window but productive.

Keep in mind that even a 'baby' bull shark can be very dangerous; they can be a very agressive species, especially when they're feeding ! If it comes back, you
may have to take drastic measures !

Cubsfan,
Which bayou do you live on? I'm on Boggy Bayou and now I'm concerned as my bride enjoys paddleboarding and jumping off our dock. I've had the same thing happen to a couple big fish (40-50lbs) when I'm offshore 20-30 miles but...DANG...that's to close to home!
