Hacksaw, BadFisherman and BadBobby go fishing

BadFisherman Loc: Lake Whitney, Texas

Hacksaw & BadFisherman take BadBobby out fishing in a boat on a favorite lake of theirs when Hacksaw realizes that he has to go to the bathroom.

Not wanting to disturb the fishing of the others in the boat by having them take him to shore, he gets out of the boat and, being a Marine, walks across the water to do his business and then returns to the boat.

A little while later BadFisherman, another Marine, also has to go and he does the same.

BF walks across the water, does his business and returns across the water to the boat.

Finally, BadBobby...a Squid, feels the urge to go to the bathroom too, so he climbs out of the boat.

But instead of walking across the water, he falls into the water and starts to wildly splash around.

Hacksaw and BF finally drag BadBobby back into the boat and Hacksaw turns to BF and says, "Maybe we should have told BB where the rocks were."

Hopefully, someday that may be possible. We are all proud native Texans. While BB and Hacksaw live in the metro Houston area, I'm just a few hours away in Central Texas. As a matter of fact, I was born in Houston and went to the same high school as Hacksaw. He & I are also both USMC Viet Nam Veterans. BB, our honorable & esteemed elder, is a distinguished WWII Veteran.

I believe my mom could be the oldest surviving WAVE. She'll be 99 in December. Any idea how a person would go about checking on something like that?

My Dad, as a young Marine during WWII, spoke of riding his share of waves during his heydays of the 1940s.

Hi,
I hope you all get the chance to. Make it a weekend adventure and I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.
That's when I'd like to be a fly on the wall. Hear the stories you all have.

No doubts as to our having a good time, but it would most likely include stories best described as colorful...at worst, coarse and/or rough-hewn. BB & my Dad were in the South Pacific at close to similar times.

You're welcome, '27. As I remember, I posted to you that my youngest son lives just south of you in Mather, Ca., a suburb of Sacramento. If'n I get up there again...I probably will...I'm gon'na make a point of seeing you, if you allow me the pleasure.
