Are those channel cats? The below the bass looks like it, but the top and bottom one don't have that deep forked tail. Flatheads? Bullheads? Damn big bullheads if that's what they are. Good eatin either way. Thanks for sharing smoke.

I fished on Lake Eufaula, Alabama, yesterday. The surface water temperature was 92.3. Both locators gave the terrible number. I had never been on the lake before but I finally managed to catch 1 bass on a deep diving crankbait. There must be a lot of catfish in that lake as everywhere I looked I could see numbers of jug lines. Thursday I fished Porter lake near the Alabama line. It was a shallow lake full of cottontail & water lilies. surface temperature was 89. I managed only 3 bass & my grandson 1. My son was in the boat but unable to fish due to his arm injury. He goes under the knife tomorrow then a 3
month recovery. Anyway, it's hot. Fish at night using green lights. Tight lines.
