Hi all,
1st time poster so I think I am newbie. I like to fish (have not been in a while) Galveston West Bay at a pier in a community named Sea Isle, wade fished In that area when I was much younger, those days are over though.
Anyone ever fish there and there opinions?

Also, any good fishing spots that one could fish from a pier or bank? I have had not much luck on the piers that run into the gulf, working lures.

Thanks

Hello Monty: I am in the area, but like you no longer wade fish in Galveston bay. Perhaps you might try the Texas City Dike. All the way out at the T-head there have been bull reds, black drum, and large rays. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome Monty. Lotsa Longhorn compadres on this sight may have some good ideas for you. You can re-post your question on Chit-Chat section. That link gets a fair amount of response on various subjects including fishing.

RJS is right about the Texas City Dike, it's free on weekdays but cost on weekends unless you live in Texas City. And welcome to the stage you should like it
