Had a good day. My son and his friend and myself. The last stop the depth finder lit up big time. We caught our three red snapper, one each. Vermilion snapper, one red grouper, two trigger fish, a mess of grunts, some amber jacks and some porgeys. Sea was 2ft. And that is awesome. My son had not caught a red snapper yet so when i had a good bite i got him to take the rod. When he got it up it was the grouper, thats why I got a picture holding it. Made him split it with me. Oh yea, I caught a Moray Eel. My first.

That's a great bunch of fish. I love those triggers. They're a pain to fillet but they are great on the plate.

Wow Gordon. That's a mess of fish. So glad y'all were successful , had a great day and it wasn't too rough. How long did it take you to make the run out there? Looks like you must have released the eel . Thanks for sharing with us, the pics are wonderful.

Never heard of trigger fish but looked it up and learned a lot over 40 different types and a mouth full of big teeth not sure if we have them here on the east coast but would love to hook into one for the pull action

Triggers are what the charter boats use as a backup when the trolling bite is off. Can't catch tuna? Pull up on a reef and catch triggerfish and other reef fish.

Nice job there Gordon.
We have those eels here in the bay.
They like to live in the rocks along the shoreline.

Looks like he had plenty of fun. How’s one of my two favorite master electricians doing this morning? Gordon being the other.
