I’m near both lakes, little experience fishing, have a 14 ft Jon boat and I’m eager to get out on the lake.

Welcome to the stage! I am a Texan stuck in OK since 79. Actually Texas has gotten so liberal, I am glad to be here. You are in a great location. Belton used to be a great lake, but I am not familiar with Stillhouse lake. I c that they are both close to The city of Belton.
I live in Cove I have fished both lakes for bass and these lakes are great try top water early morning will do well
Thank you. I’ve fished top water for striped bass when they’re running with some luck. I need all the advice I can get.
