Supper was all from this farm tonight. Bass, bluegill from the pond, beans, tomatoes and zucchini from the garden. Sorry, no leftovers.

Looks delicious. I'm starting to get a few tomatoes and I've got a pepper plant that's being very productive - yellow sweet banana peppers, no hot ones yet.

These are our first. Big tomatoes are a couple of weeks away. Always have some volunteer cherry plants that are ahead of the rest. Peas are done.

We picked some zucchini and squash the other day. The watermelons are starting to show up.
Tomatoes are starting to turn red.
Mama just got a new caning device, she used to can vegetables when we were younger.
The rabbit that was eating in the garden committed suicide on the road in front of our house.

Looks delicious. We’re getting broccoli, cauliflower and artichokes along with the usual stuff. Nothing better than home grown.

I did pretty good with snow peas, but they're finished now. Did real well on lettuce, not so much radish and beets. Herb garden is great, green beans are coming, but tomatied are a week or two away. Hot peppers, mex ,thai are coming along well

I had a rabbit eating my beans. Caught it in A havahart and transported it out. Rabbits are kinda rare, foxes get them quick.

Birds of pray and coyotes get some of them. Usually I have a fence around the vegetables but not this time. We moved everything out to the front yard this year. In the past I have used a solar powered electric fence to keep them out.

Our rabbits die of lead poisoning around here.

I don't usually have to handle rabbits myself, but the squirrels get into the bird feeders. Usually when the population gets to 8 or so at once on a feeder I'll thin them out with an air rifle. I have seen red shoulder hawks take 2 right off the feeders.

Everything looks eatable except the green beens. They need to be strung and cooked.

Half runners?

We have the gray squirrels here, not good to eat. I don't poison them because of the Hawks eating them. I do shoot them with my Benjamin air rifle.

Beans are stringless, microwaved in a little water. Just like steamed. Kids always liked them better whole, called them french fry beans.
