I'm new to the forum... my user name "Dandad" is what our grandson calls me. We went fishing today in the Northern California Sierras. We caught 12 trout from 12 to 17 inches, my grandson had a blast!!

We used to fish Caples and Silver Lakes with our 3 sons and had a blast catching beautiful trout in an incredible setting!

Welcome to the forum Dandad. I've fished Silver and Caples many times. Were you bankin it or did you have a boat? That's a great photo. Thanks for posting it.

Hey Dandad. Welcome. Thanks for sharin your pics with us. Looks like y'all had a wonderful time. Which part of the lake were you fishin and catchin the most at? I lived in Tahoe for near 25 years and use to fish Caples all the time. Still love to fish that lake. Thanks for the report. I'll be fishin that lake next time I'm up there in a week or 2.
