Even though we didn't catch anything big the boys all had a good time and one of them had never been fishing before. Hopefully we can find some places where the bigger fish are biting. We were using nightcrawlers and started at 5:30am and went until about 2pm and we live in southwest Michigan.

Berrien County? Ever been to New Buffalo and Redamak's? One of the best burgers in the world, to say nothing of the US. My wife's from Michigan City. I'm from North Liberty. Been going there for years. Almost worth gettin on a plane for. Thanks for the photos, and welcome to the stage.

Welcome to the Forum, Tim. Thanks for taking the boy out and thanks for sharing.

E., you type well for only having 9 1/2 fingers. (LOL) I'm impressed. How does it feel this morning?

Oh yes many times, we usually try to go to Red's in the spring and fall when it's not so busy.

Great feeling isn't Tim. I put my neighbor and his 3 grandsons on to where i was catching some small trout last week. They came back and you would have thought they were whales out there. Future fishermen in the making. I was as happy for them as their grandfather was.

Leave the rods as they are, it's the reels that need changing. That will be a chore in your condition, I wish I could help you out, but Eastern PA. is a long way from here. You can do it, man.

Fishing with my son and grandkids. I love it. Together several catfish were caught. Three turtles too. Chicken livers was our bait.
