We thank you so much,
It will probably never happen again. But you can bet we will still be trying.

They are still alive when being washed up.

Do you have to carry seafood sauce with you when you find them.

Just watched the You Tube from the Monterey Aquarium, on this crab. Very informative. It was dated 1 year ago, so I wonder if Larry's query is about current conditions ? As dry as northern California and southern Oregon have been, we could use a good El Nino....we currently have very little snowpack left, which spells danger for the fire season and even stream and river flows that keep our fish healthy. Already saw late and somewhat sketchy returns of steelhead and salmon this season, because of low flows. Don't wish for that to happen next year....pray for us.... humidity is at 30%, here at noon. Likely to be 20% or even less by sunset. Smokey the Bear tries, but he needs help from Mother Nature !

Boy you got that right Fixor! Iā€™m in Northern California. Mt. Shasta and MT. Lassen are both practically devoid of snow. Lake Shasta is dropping fast. And fire season is upon us..... Could get ugly.....
