I hardly ever use one so I bought a plastic one, so it doesn't rust in the bottom of my gear bucket. I've had a couple 3or4 pound pike on there for an hour or two without breaking.

Fred how do you put the cfish on?

FF , There's a little square locking block on each clip. You slide the block off the clip, then unsnap the pointy end of clip. You run the pointy end through the jaw or gill of fish, snap it back in place, then slide lock block over the clip so it can't unsnap. I would go outside to my truck and take another picture but we're having a downpour right this minute. I'll go out as soon as it stops.

Here you go (1) with clip open (2) with clip snapped shut (3) with lock block snapped over clip. The clips are made of a nylon type plastic, very flexible, even after many years. I probably got it at Korea Mart, but I think I've seen similar ones, made of white nylon at Wally World.

Yeah Walmart, not sure but if you google nylon or plastic fish stringer, you should be able to find something similar. Good luck in your search.

I may have found a 2 pack 108" can't tell from the picture but it appears to be the same lock as the one you have. I'll know for sure by the 20th. I seached Google Amazon and finally found this on EBay. Thank you again Fred
