How hard can it be though? Trick would be pump spray or a dip type and how many at a time?

EasternOz has shared his method on here before. It’s his method, I’ll let him share it.

Hi Mr. Twister
As mentioned below Mr. EasternOZ, I thought it involves Olive oil.
I'll see if I can find him.

Zoey :)

I just marinate my plastics in minced garlic year round.

Keep them in the fridge take some in a medicine bottle when I get the privilege of going fishing.

Mostly tube and grub like plastics.

They sure smell like garlic until they are tore up so bad I change them.

Hate to think about the $$ in those two containers.
Not sure if the garlic makes them mad or it is just different.

Every once in a while she complains about taking up room in the fridge.

Garlic in those bottles are a dollar each at the dollar store.

You probably have enought baits in those 2 containers for the rest of your life! How long have the ones on the bottom been there? My wife hates my worms in the fridge too, but we're entitled to some real estate in there.

I found a recipe for corn for Kokanee. I made up a batch here a few weeks ago the night before my son and I went out. I didn't put anywhere near a bottle of garlic in with a can of shoe peg corn, and it was so garlicy we could barely stand to open the bag. I can only imagine how permeated those baits are after a couple of years.

They hold the scent well.

She hollers once in a while and I put them in the freeze

If I ever do need more it will probably be black body chartreuse tail, I do have some others from when my Dad and a fishing Buddy passed not sure she will go for 3 containers.

LOL

The only way I think a normal person could get the scent in well other than the way I do it , is to put them in a vacuum sealing bag then a month or so should do it well.

And now that I have thought about it probably more like 4 years.

I haven't got to fish much the last couple.

I certainly hope your day to get out and fish is coming soon. You deserve that. And by the way, I think 3 containers is very reasonable.

You know as well as I that what you or I think is reasonable don't make a damn bit of difference. You're lucky she puts up with it at all. Mrs. Spirtit does not, and she rarely goes in the kitchen. But if she went to the fridge to get some creamer for her coffee and came back with a nightcrawler? Oh my. I would prolly learn some new French words.
