Hey 1OT. Welcome to the forum.
My fishing spans some 65 years, thus far.
I enjoy the outdoors, the camaraderie, the challenge and the follow up after the day is done. Plus sharing information with those who are just starting out or trying to learn new techniques. I’ve had many teachers over the years who I respect and call my friends.
Fishing is an adventure. You get out of it what you put into it—most of the time.

Lost my pictures in the 2017 fire in Sonoma co also lost my bass boat,my fishing journal that i had kept for many years.now with a good used nitro boat,back on the water again PTl.

Good thoughts 1OT! I like what one person said on this site, that we old-timers should "make the best of what we have left". Fishing is an activity which can be shared from the youngest to the oldest among us. Keep going!!

Agreed flyguy! I catch myself every once in awhile looking at a good looking woman, but I forgot why! The second picture of the "country thang", made me remember that the first date I had with my wife of over 50 years, we went fishing. Yes, we caught some gills but I had to remove most of them off the hook!

After 11 years, I got my vintage 1980's bass boat operational. Godspeed my evinrude 85hp, purring like a perfect beast. For this retired guy, its kind of a moving meditation. A pure life experience when cruising on a plane with the right amount of trim. No alcohol or chemicals needed. Trolling into a cove, see the blooms of the lily pads, open spaces to throw a top water lure. I feel content with my efforts.....
