Just another gloomy July Morning in the Pacific North West. How are you doing Denny? Hopefully your house is all you wanted and needed.

Good morning, Denny. Sure hope your neighborhood calms down and your family stays safe.
A thought just occurred to me;
It is possible that God has placed you in that “hood” for a/His purpose. I’m reminded of David Wilkerson. Just a thought; you might ask Him ......

Good morning everybody. I'm surviving. My fishing outing on Tuesday was different. First of all we start of late because he had to take his wife to work. As we are headed out to the pond Timmy remembers he forgot my chair. That leaves me to sitting in a metal chair.
We have 4 boxes of worms but no minnows, so we stop at the tackle shop. Unfortunately they are closed till 9AM. So no minnows just worms.
So we get out to the very full pond. Timmy put my rod together and I noticed my rod is bent, from sitting in his car trunk. I fished that way all day. I caught the 1st fish, a small bass maybe weighing half a pound. Timmy caught 4 sunfish, took the first one and cut it in half with my filet knife to use as bait for the catfish. I caught a sunfish. Then had to go sit in the shade. I was melting. To hot, even with the wind blowing pretty strong. Timmy's caught a fish he swore was a big one. He keep fighting it all the way to the boat, lifted it out of the water and it was a 4 inch green sunfish. I laughed my ass off. The last fish Timmy caught was a baby bass, no bigger than 2 inches long. It was sitting on top of the fish holding cage. Which was empty. All fish were to small. My knife is still missing.
I got home and went to sleep. Between the sun and the heat, I was wiped out. Then yesterday I went and got shots in both eyes. Another day of sleeping.
So that's how my last 2 days went. Sorry no pictures.

It’s an old book, but still a good read. You can prolly get it cheap on Amazon. Once you’ve read it, you’ll understand completely what I’m talking about as far as God placing you where He needs you.
