A little girl went to her closet and took a glass jar off the shelf. She poured the contents on to the floor and counted the money that was in it.
She counted it three times, the total had to be correct. No room here for a mistake.
Carefully putting the money back into the jar,she closed the lid and slipped out the back door and made her way to the local drug store.
She waited patiently for the pharmacist to pay attention to her,and when he finally did ,she said"I want to talk to you about my little brother. He is very sick, and I want to buy a miracle for him".
The pharmacist said"I'm sorry little girl, but we don't have any miracles in stock"The little girl replied"His name is Andrew, and he has something bad growing in his head, and I heard Daddy say that only a miracle could save him.So tell me sir,how much does a miracle cost?"
then a stranger stooped down to the girl and asked her"What kind of a miracle doe's your brother need?""I don't know "replied the girl while her tears rolled down her cheeks."I just know that he is really sick, and Mama says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it.So I want to use my money to buy a miracle"
"And how much money do you have"the stranger asked. The girl replied"one dollar and 49 cents, and that's all the money I have"
"Well"said the stranger"One dollar and 49 cents is just exactly what a miracle costs. He took her money and by her hand and said "Take me to your house,I want to see your brother and meet your parents.Let's see if I have the miracle your brother needs"
The stranger was Dr.Carolton Armstrong,a neuro-surgeon.After seeing Andrew and consulting with his parents,Dr. Armstrong agreed to do the operation free, and made arrangements with the hospital for a discount.
It wasn't long before Andrew had recovered and was back home.Mom and dad were talking about the chain of events that had brought them to this point.Mom said"that operation was surely a miracle,I wonder how much it would have cost"
The little girl just smiled happily. She knew exactly how much the miracle had cost. One dollar and 49 cents, plus the faith of a small little girl.
In our lives,we don't know how many miracles we may need.
A miracle is not the suspension of natural law,but it is the operation of a higher law
My oath to you ,my friend

I've heard this one before BB. Always tears me up. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be at your back. May the rain fall on your fields and may God hold you in the palm of his hands.
Amen this is my miracle daily from god
