Yes they do, though I usually reserve my Bluegills for tacos. I like to saute or bake the Stripers. That said, there is no wrong way to do it.

Nice to meet you.

That fish you have is the exact right eating size. Those are the ones we bring home.
I should say the one we bring home. The large ones get thrown back. They just
aren't that good.

I have found that I like striper better with the dark meat removed. Have you tried it that way?

GD where was that picture taken? You fishin from a boat or from the shore? And what were they hittin? I've never caught a striper from the bank, but I've seen a few taken that way. I've never fished the sac for stripers, only the Feather and the delta. Good eats? Yes they are. And that's the perfect size.

And please tell us where that picture was taken? Boat or bank? Bait? Don't tease us.

Ok. Caught this beauty on the bank, all I ever fish is on the bank. I was using frozen sardines and the location is in Walnut Grove off the Mokelumne river. I believe it was about 7:30am. It was just about high tide.

For gear it was caught on my 9/0 Ugly Stick paired with a Diawa BG 5000 reel.
