Welcome, Gary, I'm in Iowa City, an hour and a half east of you. You'll get some good advice here, and a lot of bull.... but you couldn't be surrounded by a better bunch of people, well at least most of them, I'll leave it up to you to sort them out.

Welcome Gary. I haven't seriously fished in about 40 years. Hit and miss. I'm not sure I have a clue anymore. Lotsa good help and advice here amongst these knuckleheads.

Welcome Gary. Been thru Johnston several times always thot it was neat to go thru town with same name as mine my family came to Ne. from Iowa don't know of any connection.

I stopped fishing for 47 years. Just started up again fishing mainly for pan fish. Shad and snapper blues when they are running. I’m from Bloomfield and Old Lyme. I have enough equipment as Cabela’s. I’m having a blast. Any helpful tips I would greatly appreciate it
