Tournament weekend.
Between the rain, heat and a lot of weekender boat traffic we managed to get our makeup tournament from April in this weekend.
I was lucky enough to finish in the money.
The generation went from 36k to 2500 in the passed few days, pulling the fish off the points. Took me a while to figure them out but finally managed to start catching and eventually caught a nice limit.
Unpegged 10” Berkeley plum power worm with a 1/4 oz worked slowly through the brush in channel swing banks was the #1 bait. A craw dad imitation green pumpkin creature bait fished on a 5/16 shaky head was next.

Hoss: For all those fishermen asking what kind of lure/bait to use for black bass, you've provided a petty good answer, not in words but in performance. Good On You! Just Sayin...RJS

A good job there Ec!
Thanks FG. Much appreciated.
Thank you, RjS.
I fish pretty much daily since I’m retired and now live on the lake. I’m at the age where sharing is important.
You can look at all the U-tube videos available. But to me, there is nothing like first hand experience.

Great job, Eye!! Nice to have a lake with a bazillion miles of shoreline, huh? I’m gonna hafta get down to Climax one of these days to see if my camp trailer has survived all the storms. I don’t get down there enough....

Nice job Eye,seems you're up near the top of the leaderboard in every event. Tells me you know what the heck you're doing. Keep it up, maybe top stick one of these times.
Thanks FredFish.
We all have our moments.
I’ve been blessed by still having the stamina to compete at my age (73).
The fun and camaraderie are still there as well.
A lot of the people who fish with me in these events are people who worked with or for me over the years. It is really enjoyable spending time with them and watch how they have improved over the years. Even when they beat my butt on the water.

That's great Eye, and bless you for keeping at it, and caring about, and spending time with former employees and coworkers. It helps that you all have a common passion, and an excellent location to enjoy it.
