What kinda gadget is this. What would I catch on it. What’s the best stuff to put in it. Have you ever used it. Do you have any pictures. Unscramble this bit of bait. HRISPM.

Mornin' Mike, The tag says that it is for catching catfish. I would imagine that is what it is for then. Does it work, I wouldn't have any idea, I don't fish catfish. The only catfish I catch are the ones I catch while fishing for walleye. They fight a lot more than a walleye but a walleye will taste much better. (MHO)
Looks like a tied on chum log. I would have guessed for cats even if it didn't say on the label. The word is shrimp.

Hi Mr. Mike,
I would ask your wife or girlfriend for a pair of there stockings. Cut part of the foot off and fill it with a chunky can of cat food.
They have several types even shrimp. It may be very effective and inexpensive, plus there's all kinds of flavors.

Nice bunch of cats there, Gordon! I see that bait is made about 80 miles south of me. I've been turkey hunting in that area many times.

Doitright, Sonny's and Hootman's are stink bait. I put this tube on the end of a Carolina Rig and mash it into the bucket of bait with a paint paddle to keep it off my hands. Works great.

Well Mike, it's obviously a dip bait holder for Catfish, and the word is Shrimp.

...and don't stop at the foot. Cut both legs, 6-7" 3-4X. Knot in one end of each piece. Fill with chum and sand (for weight), leave the top open and put a slip knot at the bottom of your rig. Pull open end of the stocking thru the slipknot and cast away. The beauty of it is if you get hung up in the rocks, the bag tears and empties, and you get your rig back with only the loss of a torn sock. Worked it for years fishing heavy rock off the CA surf.
