I have to drive 4 miles to get to where these are😉. Nothing but schooling's today, but any day out is good, right?

Unfortunately, stripers have to be between 28" and 35" to keep.

Cal it's only 18 and the smaller ones, 18 to 20 inches or so, are really good eatin.

It happens, but we still have fun :) Dad started teaching us surf fishing when we were about twelve.
Yesterday was our first attempt at Pier fishing, we made a few mistakes. And it's only our third time
using lures. It's always been salted or frozen baits in the past.

It's like learning all over again. Especially trying to find the right action for the lures.
In time I'm sure we will get the hang of it :)
