Conventional rod/reel boat combo

I’m looking to buy a conventional set-up for inshore use. Fluke, sea bass, and the like. I’m a spinning reel guy and want to change it up with an outfit with a bit more backbone. Not entry level. Looking in the $200 range.

I would check the Penn Reels at Walmart and then a good Boat Rod.
IF your just Jigging and dropping bait that's all you need.
