The rod holders, not the beer, need more up angle to them. IMO But looks nice.

Mine are 2 and 1/2 foot long schedule 40 PVC with a slant cut on the bottom. I look for already cut ones at like Ace Hardware about 5-6 foot long and then just slant cut them with a Hacksaw. 2 for $5 is not a bad deal on a budget and I can drive them into the ground with a 3 LB hammer without them breaking. To make them "Fancy", I drill 2 holes about 1- 171/2 feet down and run a lag bolt through the holes with a wing nut for a rod stopper.

Exactly. Showed it to Lynny and she said that’s brilliant. I would paint it camouflage.

Nice job, on the holder Paul, never seen a rocket launcher like that. Wanted to send a photo of some home made rod holders on my boat. These are made from 8” PVC pipe. A friend of mine made the holders. I painted them, and made brackets for them to mount on the boat. Not hard to make with the proper tools. There’s also a cheap stamped sheet metal version of the same thing for about three dollars(made in China), if you don’t want to make your own. They work fine too. Some people say that nessity is the mother of invention.
I guess the daddy is who ever wants to build it. I have these along both sides of the boat. They are held on by carriage bolts.

If I can figure out how to reply with a pic I'll show some I make here from 1/4" round rod I also make beverage holders the beverage holders in making now are special order and I have to finish one to get a pic of it. It's just with a 2500 degree farenheit fire in a garage makes it unbearable to work when it's 95-100 degrees out
