Our family, with kids ranging from 16 to 6, will be visiting the Dillon area next week and would love to take the kids fishing. There are too many of us to try fly fishing, but casting would work. Any rivers we could try where the kids could try wading in, and slipping? We're out for fun, with half of our adults able to really fish. We have vehicles, just no good ideas other than the reservoir.
Thanks, TexasBebe
Well there's a Dillon's beach over on the coast north of San Francisco, but something tells me that's not where you're talking about. This forum is nation wide, even global, and most of us have no idea where Dillon is. Is that where Matt's from? Go into your profile and add your city and state to the location field, then we'll all know where you're at, and you will receive a lot more relevant responses to your question. Welcome to the stage and don't forget to post some pictures! Sounds like a good time.
There are 15 places called Dillon in the world.
If it’s Dillon CO try the Blue River below the dam - big browns and rainbows. Also the Blue above the reservoir in Breckenridge holds some nice fish.
Perfect. That's it. Thanks.
My bad. I didn't check enough to realize it was worldwide. Thanks. We'll be in Dillon CO
