All 3 of my step kids and 1 grandson called me today to wish me happy Father’s Day. And then Lynny says “it’s your day so go do whatever you want “. So I went catching.
Caught 4 trout and 1 bluegill. 2 of the trout self released just as I got them to the bank but I got 2 in the net. Lynny texted me and told me to stay as long as I want and she would have fish tacos waiting for me when I got home. Best day in a long time. Life is good.

Looks like a great day! We drove to Oregon (the town in WI). My Daughter brought in a BBQ smorgasbord...ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket and two types of smoked sausages and about 6 sides. Both the SIL and one of the Grandsons “let” me whoop them in bags and to top it off.. there were leftovers! Can’t wait for lunch!
