Motor Boat Lure Update

Ok so a couple weeks ago I posted asking questions about the Motor Boat Lure that came in my MTB. Well I finally got to try it out today. I must say I like the actions of the lure, straight retrieval, slow reel slightly below the surface, and you can twitch it and it kinda walks side to side. Only had about 45 minutes to fish but I did manage to catch one....well kinda, it ate it off the top on a twitch, I set the hook, or so I thought, got the fish in only to realize that somehow the fish got hung through the lip by the propeller. Go figure!!!

So would be a stage Prop? A prop caught a fish on fishing stage. At least you got it to beach or Boat. Did it seem to attract fish after fish or just one good strike with a foul hook or just hung up on the prop?

😂😆 Good one Jeremy, I didn't see any other followers, was only there 45 minutes, and after the catch/foul prop, I wanted to try out my baby bull shad, had some small followers showing interest in thst but none committed.

I see. It’s good you got out to give it a try and fresh air. I have barely fished for trout a few times and Shad a couple tries this year.

Dame, I tried the one in purple that I have and didn’t get a hit in 10 min on two different outings - back to purple craw and they smashed them. Tried slower and faster but no good. Maybe next time.
