Well I got a call from one of my favorite fishing partners this morning wanting to go fishing. Since she baits her own hook and takes her fish off the by herself who would say no. Bottom line, she caught about 20 bluegills and a couple of small bass. I caught the first decent largemouth bass in many years. Wasn't huge but it was fun. Taking her rod shopping this afternoon. Pics are included.

Thanks for the pics. That's what Grampas are for. Wish mine lived close enough for that.

Saw all five if my grands live within a quarter mile of my house. It has its up and downs but I would trade it if I could.

You mean you "wouldn't"? Or you wish they lived a little further away?

Mine are temporarily "living" with me. Mom and Dad have split up (nasty) and Mom (my daughte) just started a new job, so while they're out of school and she's working grandma and grandpa Spirit are providing day care and for the first couple of weeks, night care too. I do not mind they are both good kids, and one of them loves to fish. She's out-fished me so far this year.

Thanks for the pics FT. Looks like time well spent.

Seems like you had a great day! I have plans to take one of the Grandsons fishing next week. He will most likely outfish me again, but I can’t wait.

Always fun to share a passion with your grandchild. Mine live 1100 miles away, but I'm heading up to see them soon. Nice pics for the old memory book FT.

What a fun day FT. Great catch. 👍
My grandson in Alabama texted me the other day and said he saw a fish in their pond that was over 20”. I think he’s trying to get me to come fishing with him. Lol
