Any tips on catching shad & skipjacks below dam?

Hello from us older Vets in S.E. Ohio....
Unfortunately, with age and changing physical capabilities; there are those of us not able to do what we use too.... But, still have fishing needs, like getting fresh bait/cut bait for catfishing.
Willing to barter, trade, or buy some SKIPJACKS and or bigger shad....
Any help around Jackson/Gallipolis would be appreciated, big time!!

I have fish the dam at Gallipolis there is another good dam at wind field on the big kanawha. It’s easy to fish. But a lot of steps down to it.
