Where are the Illinois power stations? In Illinois? I've been to Chicago a few times, once upon a time I's a Cubs fan. Please go back into your profile and and put your city and state in the "location" field. You will get many more relevant responses if we know where you're located.

So I know nothing about the Illinois River, I assuming that the power stations are points on the river the are damned for the production of electricity with hydros? We have those here in California, both large and small scale. The small ones I've fished are on the Feather River and they hold a lot of trout but they are really hard to fish because of the pikeminnows (squawfish). They are voracious feeders and will tear up whatever you throw out there. Trout don't stand a chance. So what are you lookin to fish for? I know the rivers back in that direction can hold a lot of different critters.
