Yeah we see them all the time in Texas. Most people bow fish for them. If you catch them on a line they are tremendous fighters.

Actually I know it's a carp but I just looked it up and the dorsal fin isn't long enough... Anybody who knows please comment.

Definitely not a common carp, but I think still in the carp family. My money is on silver carp.
