Go fishing and find out. That is the difference between fishing or the market.

Won't affect them too much, they'll just move around feeding, shallow after dark and first light then deeper through the day

Most likely water temps didn't change that much their habits shouldn't have either.

Channel and flatheads.. red worms.. or premo stinky bait.. and lake water.. thought about chicken livers and let the warm water bleed them out.. last year I used beef liver a little stronger on texture didn't throw off as many..plus I have a wrapping technique I use to secure them to my hook..

I know they shy away from he light and heat.. if I'm out on the lake and not bass fishing during the day I hit the main channel.. and the more shallow coves and closer to the banks during the day

Fresh chicken livers will hang on a single hook and cast them gently.

Deeper day, shallow at night. Livers yes. Shrimp yes, frozen. Those franks stuffed with cheese work good. But day or night a small gill is the best.

Hello, my nephew over here in Illinois, he catches àlot of flatheads on suckers& small drum. Chicken liver is dynamite here, especially when water is warm.the old man ust to sour shrimp in milk. I tried that berkley artificial liver, you get bites, seems like they chew flavor out of it in a half hour and drop it- ken

For a big cat a blue gill is the best bait there is. Catfish are a bit lazy and will only expend energy for a bait
large enough to make it worth the effort. Small catfish eat anything raw chicken will stay on the hook better
than chicken liver and in our area do just as well.

I get my livers from chicken fast food place never been frozen.

Freezing them they break down and become mushy.

Last year when fishing at the paper mill where the water is rough I discovered that if I put the liver on my hook giving a lil twist and then taking a tiny rubber band used a lot for hair braids I would wrap the rubber band tight around the liver and I never not once threw it off my hook and was pretty successful..
